Communion - Confirmation

The big day is approaching fast. The little babygirl is now a teen - and barricade herself in the bathroom for hours with her giggling girlfriends. Thre little guy on the tricyckle is now living on his offroader or his skateboard, and is dreaming of the day when he can finally get his license on a light motorbike!

TIme sure flies - that is true, but to be a teenager is in so many ways the most exciting and fun time in a person's life. Now is the time to break free from the adults and find our own way. The most important thing is to have the support needed from family and friends, so that life is good to live. It is a time with a lot of changes and things happening, and more now than ever. There are so many temptations and dangers out there, so now it is important that the parents truly show they are parents now. We might not be the most popular person in our teen's life, but we are not meant to be his or her best friend, either - but the one to be trusted to make decisions and also set the rules...meant to teach - and not to hold back - but also the one that is shaping, protecting and above all - is the safe haven.

A song or a speech can say what you have on your mind and in your heart - and here you will get them as personal and warm as you want them to be....maybe also with a little humorous touch.
